2025 Open water guide trips

Four hour walleye trip
- Fully guided walleye fishing trip on Lake Vermilion. I will pick you up at a predetermined location which can be right at your cabin or resort! You will enjoy four hours of fishing time with all gear being provided and fish processing provided after the trip. I will even mark up a map with the spots we fished plus many more to give you more options during your stay on the lake. My three main goals are to you learn the lake (more spots), understand what the fish are doing during the time of your trip, and to make memories that will last a lifetime! I can fish up to four guests in my boat at a time.

Six hour walleye trip
- Fully guided walleye fishing trip on Lake Vermilion. I will pick you up at a predetermined location which can be right at your cabin or resort! Six hour walleye trip with a shore lunch
- This trip is the true Northern Minnesota experience. All of the perks of a four hour guide trip but after four hours of fishing we will go to one of the 7 shore lunch sites on the lake and a shore lunch cooked over an open fire! A shore lunch includes fresh fish from that days catch, baked beans, corn, hand cut fries and chocolate chip cookies.

Six hour combo trip
- This trip is client favorite during the peak summer months! By choosing this option you get the best of what Vermilion has to offer, walleyes and smallmouth. This trip will be a full six hour fishing trip but split into two parts. We will pick the best three hours for walleyes and target them during that time and we will take the other three hours and focus on catching Vermilion smallmouth! I highly recommend this trip for groups with kids as the smallmouth bass fishing on Vermilion will keep anybody entertained for as long as you please and there is nothing better than watching kids reel in fish after fish! Only offered June 15th-August 5th.
